ppi and Old sainsburys Loans

Hi
we have ppi on 3 old loans (now all paid off ) I believe the dates were 2000,2004, and 2007, I don't have account details.
An old copy of credit report shows the Sainsbury's amounts and date took out and settled, is this enough information ?
or do I need to send of for the agreements and the £1 letter to get the account numbers, or can I just start the ppi claim.?
This was back in the day when Sainsbury's couriered the loan document out to you and gave you 15 minutes to get it all back with courier waiting.
Also does anyone know the address for Sainsbury's (bank of Scotland ??) to send the request to, and who to make the £1 out too?

In order to complain, all you need are the account numbers and valid reasons for mis-sale. If you have these you are good to go.
If you don't have the complete account numbers (credit reports usually list only the last four digits), then you'll have to send a Subject Access Request (SAR) letter to try and obtain them. However, due to the age of this finance do note that the Bank may have destroyed their records.0 -
HI,
I successfully complained that I had been mis sold PPI on a BOS loan I had in 2002.
I arranged the loan by phone and the cheque was delivered by courier. They used the BOS Creditcare Bronze Insurance.
I still had the customer guide that stated the courier “will wait for 15 minutes giving plenty of time to follow the simple instructions listed below”. Then lists 4 things- check personal details check the amount I was borrowing, monthly repayment & check T& Cs on reverse (very small print), where to sign & date & where to sign for direct debit.
The credit agreement was flawed in regard to the actual PPI as to details of the premium & repayments & the particulars of the loan were misleading.
I used this as part of my complaint.
Hope this helps0
