Scottish Life Demutualisation

Hi everyone
Does anybody know about making a "windfall" claim for the Scottish Life Demutualisation back in 2001?
My Grandad died this year and I read on this website that it was the last chance to claim if you had a Scottish Life policy. My Grandad did have a policy but never received the money.
I'm now, at the last minute, trying to make a claim for this cash for my Nan - I have a form to fill out but it's to be filled out in my Grandad's name. Can anyone advise me what I should do to make the claim quick, ie what should I include with the form when I send it off, who should sign etc
Thanks in advance

you would need to go to the lawyer that dealt with your grandfathers will....
they will deal with it0 -
Do they not have a telephone helpline?
The danger is that we will guess what they might want and get it wrong - better to find out exactly what they want.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

Thanks for replies,
I've basically sent off copies of everything relevant, eg death/marriage/birth certificates etc, once the claim is in they can ask for anything else they want to support it.
You'd think they would have a telephone number, but apparently they will only deal with this in writing, noone will speak to me even to answer simple questions - very helpful.0
