Well it's been a ridiculously long road but finally exchanged today and completing tomorrow!!!!! :j
Can honestly say this has been the most stressful year of my life - put house on market in January, sold, house undervalued, buyer pulled out just before exchange, lost the house we were buying - devastated! Back on the market in June, sold, valuation fine, four months to exchange with alot of pushing along but it's finally happened.
Wouldn't wish the process on my worst enemy but the end result is that we are moving into our dream forever home tomo (will be very sad to leave this one though).
Hang on in there!

greast news - enjoy the new home.
currently going thru it all - stress? understatement. Sick of a) the archaic process b)lack of urgency of solicitors c) lack of ownership of the processSmile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
Congratulations! Enjoy your new home x(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

Thank you all. Currently waiting at our old house for the removals to come back for the last bits. Have had a sit in each room and had a good bawl - I'm very sentimental and after 10 years here every room has so many memories. Think I'm ready to go now.
Oh and the back fence has blown down on both sides - just want to get out of here before the roof flies off!!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j
