gas meter fault- edf not bothered?

hi all hope someone can help me

checked my edf gas prepayment meter balance, it shows balance and in the corner 'B1' never seen that before, looks odd, phoned edf.

their answer? they have no idea

phoned again today as it hasnt gone, spent an hour on hold before giving up, tried again and the call centre closed, it was just after 7 i dialled through originally.

anyone seen the code before? edf fancy helping?

and now we wait to see if edf will come out on friday to fix it?

It will eventually stop working and you will have no gas. It will probably take a few weeks to die though..

Agree with above - it shows the battery is low, but depending on how you use it it could even be months before it runs out.
They will e prioritising people whose meters are not workign and have no gas, so all you need to do is book an appointment for a convienent time to swap it.
If in the mean time the battery runs out (screen won't wake up whern you press the button, gas turns off) - they should get an engineer to you in 4 hours.
