Great service EDF..not

Keep it short...

Moved supplier from EDF. Final meter readings finally agreed.

EDF final bill and they owe me over £100.

No money in my account after 12 days so i called EDF. I was told that i will be refunded because i made the phone call,but oops,we have removed your bank details from our system.We(EDF) will therefore send you a cheque.....

So my question is: if i hadnt called would i have been refunded?.....and should i have threatened legal action which is what these conglomerates do to us when we fail to make a payment(i know from experience).

Bitter? Me?
