Tax Bill?

Hi All
I've just completed my first SA on line and owe HMRC some money.
Do I just go ahead and pay the calculated amount or will I be sent a paper bill in a few days?

Presumably it is not due until 31st January and I would not pay them until a few days before - personal choice.

In a few days time (perhaps sooner) your account balance will appear on the self-assessment home screen. (You have an amount to pay or something similar). You can pay online using the billpay facility which is safer than posting.

Thanks for the reply nomunnofun. I intend to pay on line but wasn't sure if the figure is finalised or if it may be tweaked before it appears in my account.
I'll wait a few days to check and then make a payment to transfet towards the end of January.

Personally have the DD set up and so it just gets taken automatically at the appropriate dates
