Well made an order of 4 items on 15th November (this year) and one item arrived about a week later, no sign of other item so went to the website which said to wait 2 weeks then contact if no delivery (Hermes is delivery firm), THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT THEM, just a form, although with digging I found an email so sent the form and email (said would be contacted after 48 hours), then got reply via email to state that delivery would be by yesterday (3rd Dec) lol - nope!! today got package and only 2 items in it, still missing my 4th item!!!!   So have emailed back to update them with the situation!!
This is not the first time I have had problems with the courier Hermes, a couple of weeks previously an expensive item that I had ordered from Tesco also went missing with Hermes!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
When ordering make sure you try to collect at the store instead or buy it when out shopping - other alternative would be to ask who the courier is and avoid the shops that use Hermes as packages seem to go missing alot from this courier!!!

There was a thread on here recently warning about Hermes (I'd never heard of them before - only the dreaded Yodel).
Had me a bit worried when I discovered an item I'd ordered was being delivered by Hermes, to be fair it did arrive promptly & intact (thankfully I was in as well).
If there had been any mucking about my plan was to contact the seller and make them do all the chasing. IMO it's their job to ensure you get what you paid for, not yours.
Hope you get it soon.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
Would you have ordered from The Works if you'd had to pay another £2 delivery charges?
Both The Works and Hermes are getting business by cutting costs. You're buying from them as they're cheaper.
Hermes pay peanuts to their self employed drivers to deliver each parcel. Not excusing it, but it's the society we're in now as we all want something for nothing.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Hermes depends on the people that work in your area, i have no complaints and quite like them but the people in my area are fine and get the job done.0
