Agree you need to wait for the defaults and Wonga data to drop off. I'd suspect you'd be refused a mortgage with Wonga or any payday lender on your credit files as its a clear message that you may have a problem managing money, even if it was your girlfriend who messed things up for you. Some of us have to learn the hard way, me included, albeit a very long time ago ��0
