Credit file when moving address??

  • When I moved out of my parents, first thing I did was update all my credit and bank accounts with the new address. Currently as far as Tesco are concerned you have no bank, or any other credit and therefore no history, so you are seen as a high risk. This is because of the other accounts you do have are not at the address you used on the application.

    Once you have changed them over, allow at least 1-2 months for the updates to get picked up by the credit reference agencies before trying again elsewhere.
