So I'm assuming you will be transferring to Ebico first thing in the morning?0

Scottish power are a joke, why or why did I move to them.I have only been with them a week and still cant get my account working online despite a email from them to say I can now log in, I use correct username and password which has a green tick so it accepts it.. I ring them constantly long queues. So today I ask twice for them to ring me back at allotted time, on both occasions no one has rung
Its been like this since I first moved, they are blooming useless
Temporarily unavailable
Sorry, unfortunately we have experienced a temporary problem.
Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
Wonder when I will get my £350 back from British Gas too cant even view my latest bill up to 1/12 on that site now0 -
It looks by that table that the people who offer the cheapest kwhr rates are at the bottom and the dearest , Ebico, Ecotricity, Good Energy are at the top.Maybe they spend much less on customer services in order to offer cheapest rates.
I personally never have to contact my suppliers from one year to the next, so If I get my direct debits about right in the first place thats as far as I ever need to go.I am going to take a risk soon and ditch my recent switch to Npower and try out First Utility..hoping I never have to ring them0 -

I hear they eat babies, and the exit penalty is your first born.
So, perfect for a childless household. Hehe.0 -

I been on hold to First Utility for 59minutes so far, tried emailing on several occassions still no reply a week later.... cheapest is not always best and customer service should be considered when switching.0

or some of them are so busy because people are trying to switch to them because of good rates0

I would have thought it more likely that it's not the price they charge or a deliberate policy (Npower for instance constantly claim to be aiming for better, even the best service) but the numbers of staff employed by them in comparison to the number of customers calling that makes smaller suppliers seem so much better.
Simple economies of scale should enable them to offer better rates rather than poor service
It amazes me every time I hear such stories that anyone would be prepared to sit on a phone & wait 15 minutes never mind an hour. You could type an email or even a good old fashioned letter faster than that!0
