I use KeePass 2 on my PC where i store all my passwords for everything. Forums, general websites, banking etc.
There's some times i wouldn't mind checking via my phone when i'm out & about but i can't remember the usernames.
Do any of you use such a program for your smartphones (iPhone in particular)?
Would you check your online accounts via a 3G network or is that not very safe?
I know this could go in this forum & the Techie forum, but i'm more interested in the safety side of it than the downloading it to my phone side & whether those who do a lot of banking would trust such an app.

I prefer not to keep passwords stored on my phone.
However, I consider 3G to be more secure than public Wifi networks (regardless of whether they are 'open' or locked with passwords/phrases) if I need to check my bank balance, credit card, etc.0 -
Yes absolutely fine if you choose the right app and have a strong password along with the IOS feature to wipe the phone after 10 incorrect attempts.
I prefer LastPass as it syncs between your PC/Mac and iPhone.

I think it was LastPass i used on the PC & i really didn't like it. I then shifted to KeePass.0

I use pwsafe on my home and work PCs, but I don't have anything installed on my phone. Authentication to the app is done via a Yubikey.0
