My credit was refunded automatically at my review. I would say, however, that it would be normal to be well in credit at this time of year. Winter is just getting started and I would expect you would swallow a lot of this credit up over the next 3 months. If you still have credit in March, it may be worth calling them to have it refunded.Sealed Pot Challenge #239

I was with EDF for a few years and over a few years built up a £300 credit on my gas ( only have a gas hob ). They certainly didnt ever volunteer any rebate but to give them credit it was repayed instantly I phoned customer services. anyone with gas central heating needs to be a couple of hundred in credit now as we enter the two big quarters. Last winter the temp stayed static for weeks around the 2c to 3 c until mid April0

When will EDF let you know how much you have used? I have sent readings but they say next bill Oct 2014! I don't want a bill then! I want now so I know what I am using. they have acknowledged I am not using much electricity even though they want £53 DD! Part of me wants to return to Southern Electric. at least they let you know what you were using! But will have to wait until Warm Home Discount.0
