Please help. I have a yahoo.co.uk e mail account, but have decided I want to use outlook express to receive/send e mails. How can I ensure that my e-mails come into my outlook Inbox and not yahoo? Is it possible to move my folders from my yahoo inbox over to outlook? I've only been on internet 2 months and am still an absolute beginner!! Any help is greatly appreciated.

It has worked, fantastic and thanks. Next thing is how do I get my folders with e mails in it from yahoo over to outlook? Is it possible? Can I also shift over all my address book too?

Am not a whiz on this thing!!! Thanks for any help.

    Hi
The only way I could see would be to forward each message to your yahoo email address or move them to your inbox and mark them as unread. Then outlook should pick them up. Have you set outlook to delete them from the yahoo server otherwise you may run out of space

    Phil,

I have tried to set-up my yahoo email account on Outlook Express. Whenever I click on Send/Rec, a box just to confirm my user name and password. When I click Ok the same username and password box appears again.

    Can you help please?

    Thanks

    Mo,
Which version of outlook are you using? Open Outlook and then click on Help, then about Microsoft Outlook

msaquib if you have a yahoo.com address you need to pay yahoo for pop access, but it should work ok for a yahoo.co.uk address

Or you could keep your money and use yPOPS!
    http://ypopsemail.com/

To configure it with Outlook Express:

It's open source by the way.

    Hi,

    I have yahoo.co.uk email addresses.

I have tried setting up my email account on Outlook Express 6 & Microsoft Outlook 2003.

On outlook express the following message comes up:-

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid user/password', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

    Any advice please?

    Thanks
    Mo
