Lloyds Account Vantage Interest Question

1.50% AER/ 1.49% GROSS variable on balances from £1 to £999.99
3.00% AER/ 2.96% GROSS variable on balances of £3,000 to £5,000.

Quick question:

What happens if you have £2000?
If you have £10,000, would you get interest on the £5,000 but no more?

There's a tier in the middle - see http://www.lloydsbank.com/current-accounts/vantage.asp

So on £2k, you'd get 2% on the whole £2k.

On £10k, you'd get 3% on £5k and nothing on the other £5k.

So, if you have £10K - open another account and you'll get the 3% on each £5K.
