On my lunch and just before I pop out into the glorious sunshine I thought I would come and say Hi to my diary.

After a BT engineer arrived then went home without doing anything to fix my faulty phoneline last Weds, I had a rescheduled appointment yesterday for him to come out... and he didn't turn up. I had a missed call from BT 5 minutes before the end of my slot and rang back to be told they had fixed the fault at their end and it wasn't at my end despite the engineer wanting access to a cupboard in my building that is permanently locked by a crazy old witch on the ground floor who uses it as her personal storage space. I told him he was a liar, and he insisted he was correct and was taking ownership and would call me back today to confirm it had been fixed. I then had another call from BT yesterday evening saying they had to cancel the appointment (No really?!) and they wanted to reschedule for this morning. I rescheduled again and guess who has not turned up. So the guy who is taking ownership by lying through his teeth to me rang me back just now. I gave him a mouthful and told him to ring the engineers and get someone out in the next 25 minutes or there would be serious problems. And hung up on him. 5 minutes later he called me back. An engineer has been dispatched to fix the issues INSIDE the property (those ones he said didn't exist..) and will be out shortly. So Him has gone down and kicked the cupboard door in. One swift kick and the lock has popped with no damage. :rotfl: It is full of junk but it smells horrible and is very damp. Thats the problem the engineer thinks... the cables are wet.

So £129 charge for an internal fault. I have told my landlord and asked him to bill the building since it is the main communal area not inside his flat. Luckily they have agreed to pay but that leaves me with £129 out of my pocket until they sort it out :(

Right. Off to whizz about in the sun! xx

oh wow what a bummer and inconvenience to be waiting for the BT man to cancel again - well done for being verbal, make sure you fight to get your money back as like you say its not in your flat and its in the communal area...

what will the witch do now the lock has broken!!! what on earth was she storing in there that was wet!!! (shall I even be asking)

Hope you enjoyed your wiz in the sun,

Hello!! Just dropping in quickly to catch up.

Glad to hear Jelly is doing better and well done on the potty training! That sounds a bit like you've been potty trained, but I assure you I was referring to her wee's not yours lol. Although talking of your wee's, when I read your bit about peeing on sticks I thought I had missed something and you were trying for another baby!!

Glad you have such a lovely boss. And I love how helpful dreams can be sometimes, I've also had dreams like that in the past where I have had to check if they were true and they partially were. One or two were also appointment related!

Like you I have been making an effort to sleep better. Last night I slept from approx 11pm until 5.42am, back to sleep and up by 8am. The day before it was midnight until 6.42am. Huge improvement for me, normally I wouldn't be going to sleep until 3am or later. And I know what you mean about having more energy, although today I have none but I think I over did it yesterday. Walked about 2 and a half miles in total. Huge improvement from me barely making it half a mile.

I've been referred to a dietician. Between intolerances and deficiencies finding a healthy diet is a battle. So they are going to try and work with me to find something that helps. Waiting for an appointment through. I can't get help with my back until I shift the weight unfortunately, but I can't shift the weight as I keep getting back spasms that make exercising hard. I am going to have to dig out my Polar FT4 and start wearing that more often. I've also just got a Wii!! I have the fit board, waiting for the game etc to be delivered and then I'm going to get it all set up and try and get on that on days I'm home.

Anyway I shall stop rambling and taking over your diary now x

By jove the child has got it!!!

Not an accident in sight today. Granted it was naked Fridays, but I can cope with a t shirt and nowt else if she can get used to the toilet :) been a funny old week but today something just seems to have clicked. She has a sticker chart by the loo covered in stickers. I got regular updates from Him and she ended the day on 12 - 0 to wee'wee's and 1-0 to the other :D

I am trying to get my back sorted. Lots of pain the last few days. Lost a touch more weight. A pound or so but I will weigh in on Tuesday to figure it out. Planning on behaving myself. :D

Bought Mum a present - body shop gift set with the hand cream in she stole form me as she loved so much for her poor chemo hands. Also lots of other creams and lotions in the same 'hemp' which she enjoys.

Sister visited yesterday on way to a booze cruise. Picked me up form work which scuppered my steps and left me just scraping 10k for the day. I was on over 103k steps on Weds!!! :rotfl: for 1 week that isn't bad going. I need to go out and sort myself out but shall struggle the next few days as the Jellytot cannot go far.

    Hope you're all ok.

    Lots of love xxx

    P.S BT suck.
