I only use cold water and evoo on my face. And sometimes a scrub of fine sea salt + evoo. Cannot put anything even slightly perfumed on it - even kissing a friend with make up or perfume on makes me itchy! Ha ha - maybe no friends is the route I should go...!

Liltster that is amazing news about your review, bonus, rise -- so many congrats to you but so well deserved as it's easy to see how hard you work and it's about time they fully appreciated it :D Hope you have fun with the extra money and buying clothes..:j

It's always worth a look in charity shops too.. for work stuff.. I recently found a Topman suit.. very very nice, black tailored trousers & jacket, looked to me more or less brand new.. £8 :T I've been wearing it a lot ever since. I always keep a few sets of basics of everything I wear to work which is white shirts, black trousers from the cheapest range of Asda or whatever but great as staple items. I also always have a couple of pairs of 'work shoes' and a tip is NOT to go basic on those :D Comfort and quality for work shoes, every time :)

Glad your face is improving and Jelly-tum is getting better again.

I hope you continue to have an awesome weekend and well done again soooooooo much on your work news, we're so proud of ya

Oh guys. I love you all.

Levi - lush to see you back. Where you been hiding you monkey? Thank you! :o

apple, SS - there isn't a thing I have tried. If I tell you that even water and cotton wool hurts right now, you get the picture. It will die down and I will go back to my 1% retinol cream at night and wake up in the morning with my usual crystal clear complexion. Regardless of the fact it takes a handful of prescription anti-histamines a day to keep it that way :rotfl:

I've had courses of steroids in the past to drag it back from near to where it is now. So I am pre-empting it with some fucibet cream the Dr gave me for dire facial emergencies (being a bridesmaid!) Lol.

Have spent... whew. An eye watering sum of money. But actually, in total I have SPENT £36.63 and £5.99 of that was postage. Cheeky gets. The rest is a wishlist on amazin. My sister wants to buy me something off it, but basically it is around £150 of clothing. And still am not finished. Am feeling poorly. Lol.

Speaking of which. !!!!!!!g fuming. Jelly has started with gooey eyes. Really? I mean seriously how do I go about catching a break?! The poor little mite.

Can I just point out I said I was f r i ck ing fuming. MSE... *sigh* I need to teach you swear words and non-swear words it would seem.

Days like today it is hard being a single mum. I woke up at the crack of dawn. There was no cup of coffee in bed let alone a breakfast. In fact I have only just got my first cup of coffee of the day. It is 12:30 and it feels like it should be 6pm. We have been up for HOURS. So many hours that Jelly already had her third two-hourly dose of eye drops. Eye goo shall not reign in this house this week. I will WIN.

I've got the prospect of a gooey grumpy poorly child being awake until 9pm tonight, as she was last night, no break. No pampering. And I've got to cook dinner and I cannot be bothered.

The bright stars in my day though.. are as always my Jellytot in the rare moments I don't want to string her up today. (She used garlic dip from the fridge as face cream, hand wash, and polished the table with it this morning) and MEandO - I opened my present today. carefully and beautifully wrapped by you. And I cried because they are even more beautiful than I thought. Treasured they will be. :) Thank you so very much. And Happy Mothering Sunday to you, super Mum.

Happy Mothering Sunday to all of the super Mums I know. xx

Squeak!! Sorry lubava! That did make it sound like Him hadn't got me anything. Him in fact opened his wallet and handed over any amount of cash I wished to purchase some amazing cushions from M&O because I loved them so! She sent them ready wrapped so they have been sat aside ever since for today! He also bought me a giant 1kg slab of easter chocolate :o knows me well so he does.

Jelly is asleep. And I am torn between letting her sleep as she really isn't well, or waking her as she will undoubtedly not want to go to sleep tonight!!

I spent... an eyewatering amount of money on clothes today. But I am 90% done! £122 whilst out. And.. £150 online, but that will have some money paid back into the fund from sister and momma for birthday :)

We were going to go to the park but Jelly just wanted to huddle up in her pram and watch the world roll by bless her. :( so sad!

Many big hugs to all!! And to Levi the honorary mum... happy Mothers day. You do an amazing job of being both parents at once! xxx
