Dodgy emails "from" Barclays

I'm curious.

I'm on another (Brit based) forum where many members have received fake emails from Barclays about non existent transactions. The email is addressed to the one used exclusively for that site and not the one registered with their bank.

Has anyone received anything similar using an email address registered with this or any other site?
