I paid a cheque into Natwest the day before these shenanigans kicked off.
Anyone know if it will take longer to clear as a result?If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.

I doubt it, most of the cheque clearing process is just mailing the cheque around.0 -

A cheque is only actually cleared on 6 day. However you can withdrawn the funds after day 2/3.
But the cheque could still be returned unpaid before this point.
