    I doubt it, most of the cheque clearing process is just mailing the cheque around.

    It actually cleared in 2 working days, weird!

    A cheque is only actually cleared on 6 day. However you can withdrawn the funds after day 2/3.

    But the cheque could still be returned unpaid before this point.
