What's the deal with Lloyds Bank? Anyone else having issues this month?

Trying to sort this tax issue with my mum we log on to hers & i notice - no interest. No problem, check tomorrow.

Log on to mine later on - no interest. Ok this must be fine. I can't remember whether the interest is due today or tomorrow because of 1st landing on a Sunday, so i don't worry about it & decide to check again tomorrow.

But then i notice £1k hasn't cycled today in any account. This one isn't right. I check the standing orders tab & my £1k standing orders have been deleted - they're not there.

A should pay B, B should pay C, C should pay A ... all £1k. It's all disappeared though.

Anyone experiencing the same?

And before it's suggested, no i didn't delete them while i was asleep & no nobody else has access.

Lloyds interest should show in your accounts tomorrow. The accounts are being credited at the end of the first working day each month. Today is the first working day in December.

TBH it's not the interest that bothers me. As said - i saw that & thought i'm a bit early, i'll wait until tomorrow. If it was just that then i wouldn't have made this thread.

Not sure I understand what your issue is, over and beyond waiting for the interest, which should be showing tomorrow, as per T&Cs? What else is wrong? You have to allow for weekend processing and delays.

Not being funny or anything but i don't know how else to say it really, other than ... my standing orders that should be there, aren't.

I just noticed today about 5 minutes tops before i created this thread.

I suspected they'd be out of hours & i've got a lot on at the moment so don't have time to sit in a half hour queue when i could just fire up a quick post on here, leave it, get on with my other stuff i need to sort & in the meantime someone may have come with an answer.
  • Right i've just spotted something & this isn't right. Forget calling them, the only way to get this one sorted will be via complaint.

QUESTION: When did Lloyds TSB become separate ... Lloyds and TSB?

It seems they cancelled all my SOs some time between 1st October (as they were paid in Oct) & 31st October, because i've just noticed that November didn't have any SOs go. I've only just twigged since i got paid no interest on 3x £5k this month.

Yes i know there will be those who say you should check online every minute of every day, but when your SO has been active forever you don't expect it to stop being active without your say so.

If I remember correctly, they split the systems over the weekend of 8/9 Sept 2013 or thereabouts.
It seems they cancelled all my SOs
Sounds most unlikely - but you'd need to ask them who/what exactly cancelled your SOs. Since you say it's only happened in the last month or so, they should have this information on their system (even if you cannot see this kind of information yourself). You might have to raise a formal complaint to obtain this information but worth trying normal CS first.
