Help with council tax problem

You don't get a Council tax bill every month. They've already told you on the payment schedule what you have to pay each month. You set up the DD and away you go.
I'm willing to bet you didn't get a September 'bill' you got a September reminder. So you've already used up your 1 warning, hence the debt company.
You say you assume the letters got lost in the post... Do you think this means you don't have to pay?0 -

No I simply meant I expected another reminder before passing to the debt company with the 10% charge. I didn't set up DD because I was changing banks and just wanted to wait for the monthly reminders to remind me to phone up each month. Anyway its done and dusted now :money:0
