Help! I want rid of my prepayment electric meter!
Options
Hi!
I am hoping that someone can tell me what to do as trying to figure out a plan with all the information available is giving me a migraine!
I have a pre-prayment meter for my electric, that has been in this flat longer than we have and I really want to switch to paying my electric by monthly direct debit. I am with scottish hydro and they will charge £50 to remove the meter, which I am not keen on paying. Does anyone know if any companies switch for free, even if it means going to another company for a few months on prepayment and then moving to direct debit. I am not to impressed with scottish hydro raising the standing charge to £100 when I already pay over the odds for my electric.
My gas is with scottish hydro too and pay that monthly.
Thanks in advance!
