Tariff issues: Meters Replaced, now no reply from Scottish Power

Hi all,
I had both my elec and gas meters changed from pre-pay to credit a couple of weeks ago. My provider is Scottish Power, and I managed to get this done for free on health grounds.
I was told to call after the swap completed (which did not go smoothly, and I registered a complaint, but had no compensation or final reply, just a letter) to arrange the tariff I wanted to go on to, as they automatically put me on a standard tariff, but not even dual fuel, as they gave me 2 different account numbers when I first joined them. Not sure why.
So, now I can't seem to get a reply from Scottish Power, and their prices are due to go up on the 6th Dec. (I don't know what's happening with the possible announcement by the Chancellor about reducing our bills?!) I emailed them about 2 weeks ago, with a promised "within 5 working days" reply - NOTHING. I've tried calling, but I either wait on hold for ages, then the line goes completely dead, or I get a recording saying they are busy, and I should email them! They used to have a call-back request on their website, but that is not available now.
To complicate matters further I applied for their warm home deal, or whatever it's called, to get £150 towards my electricity. I received this last year, but can't remember when it's paid. If I abandon ship and leave s/power, will I lose my warm home deal, and will they charge me for leaving them straight after getting my meters changed by them? Martin's cheap energy club shows I could save over £100 a year moving to the Co-operative....
Any ideas what I should do?
