How to close JSA claim online/via email?

My daughter does no longer wish to claim JSA as of today (moved away from London where she was claiming).
How can she stop the claim/cancel it - going to see her adviser is not an option as she moved away.
Her last sign on was last week Wednesday, she moved today so I assume her last day would be today?
Will email to her "advisor" be sufficient? Does she need to call someone (whom?) or is there a form online to close the claim?
Anyone knows?
Thanks a lot.
She will not be claiming where she lives now.

There should be a phone number on the back of her green signing book. Unless things have changed there's no way to sign off online, and an email to her advisor isn't enough.0

Thanks - If that is the case... this is rather silly.
She just won't go to the next appointment and they will sign her off themselves then.
If the above is the case...
One can apply for JSA online, one should be able to sign off online too.0 -
just call them,
or send in the slip they will pay her up to that day,
if she doesnt sign then she can lose benefit
and have trouble if she needs to claim again, sometimes the system faults on these cases0 -
Thanks.
There is nothing for her to lose as she is signing off...
I do not think she packed the flimsy bit of green "book" with her TBH, she just wanted to move and forget all this signing on experience.
Just wants to close it and be done with all that grief - she will email the "adviser" and will see what they tell her. Failing that she won't go to next appointment and this will cancel her claim.
Thanks0 -
Great attitude for her to take
It won't 'cancel' her claim it will sanction her claim which could lead to issues in future. I'm sure her 'signing' experience was absolutely awful, as awful as that money in the bank every fortnight.
She took the money just make the phonecall. I'm sure it's online if she didn't pack her 'flimsy book'0 -
if she is not to fussed then
http://los.direct.gov.uk/default.aspx?type=2&lang=en
put in her postcode
then contact her local office on the next page.
and send an email to the central team they will forward it to JSA changes0 -
Thanks - their email link tries to start up Outlook LOL
They should have provided just an email address or a form to fill....
Oh, technology0 -
cut and paste the email address and send it from her own email account
works ok.0 -
I know that but how many people do not?
Besides, there is no email address to cut/paste.
Not everyone uses Outlook and most people do not know how to read the email address on the bottom of the screen while hovering their mouse over a button.
Just another stupid/unfriendly set up on gov website LOL0 -
