Multiple Pet Insurance Question

Hi...New to this forum. I have two dogs both x breeds age 4 yrs & 2 yrs. I am looking to insure with Lifetime cover. I have been on the comparison websites, but before I go filling in information and reading all the small print, could someone recommend a good Insurance Companies for Multiple Pets. Its easy to buy, but its a minefield out there. Many thanks

Hi....I'm on the pet insurance trail too.

More Than offer a 20% discount for multiples

    Cheers
  • "protect you bubble" were the cheapest by far for me when I came to re insure my spaniel a few years ago. I have just made my first claim and received a cheque within 7 working days.

They offer differing levels of protection but just be careful of escalating excesses and claim limits as your dogs get older. Protect your bubble were among the most acceptable to me. Other well known pet insurers seem to charge fees that dissuade people from insuring their dogs after they reach 7 or 8 years of age.

pudwillow you can compare cover and cust satisfaction ratings here

Many companies give an additional discount for a 2nd pet but the most important thing is to make sure that you have the cover that you want first of all. Make sure that you do not have an unaffordable excess fee. Then look at prices.

My dog is insured through Argos Platinum for the past 3 years (one claim settled easily).

There is no easy answer as to what is the best policy for your needs - you'll probably have to set aside a bit of time to get a few q's.

If you find one that you like you can always ring the insurer to go through any details you are not sure of. They will normally honour online q prices taken over the phone and you can also ask for a bit more discount! They will be keen to have your business!
