Conveyancing solicitor recommendations

Has anyone used any of the on-line/low-cost conveyancing services/lawyers/solicitors: if so, was it a good experience and have you any recommendations?

We have a very straightforward purchasing coming up and am fed up of being fleeced by local solicitors, also the vendors have a straightforward move too, nothing is in a chain.

Thanks in advance!

Great reports on both. Say matt at M&G gave you the nod.
I work in the 'moving industry'. My frame of reference is around 20 years and circa 27,000 domestic moves.

  • I'm very close to completion using the online firm NBM Law. My advice would be to avoid. I really do wish I had forked out the extra money to use a recommended local solicitor. It has been an uphill struggle! Good luck!
