e-mail query

Hi Guys,
I am isp provider switcher and have previously had an ntlworld and btinternet acc, the ntl one has now expired and am now paying bt £1.60 a month as I have switched again to talktalk.
I use Windows live mail, I have tried setting up a talktalk email acc but cant seem to export it into windows live mail.
I have tried to use the settings talk talk provided to no avail.
Any ideas on how to rectify this.:o
Thanks Suzanne:money:

The best thing to do would be to dump the ISP-based emails completely and go for a free one like GMail.
That way, you don't need to keep changing it all the time.
You'll need to check the settings for both incoming and outgoing mails in the account settings (I don't use Windows mail so I don't know where they are, sorry).
Or you could download and install Thunderbird (from the same people that did the Firefox web-browser).
As far as I know, Thunderbird will cope with just about anything.

I haven't used an ISP based email address for years. For a few pounds a year I have my own domain name plus I use Gmail as a backup.

no problem receiving emails to tbird through these on-line e-mails.

Dunno about sending emails through thunderbird via a hotmail /microsoft email address.

I use thunderbird and I can send through my googlemail address.
    SMTP address is smtp.googlemail.com

You wouldn't use Windows Mail through Thunderbird, you'd replace Windows Mail with Thunderbird (they both do the same thing as far as I know).
You'd just need the connection settings for your email account (a quick Google should give you those) to get everything set up.

Your email program has nothing to do with your choice of browser.
