Santander 1-2-3 - main account

hope someone can help please?
I have £15000 to put in savings and have used my full year ISA allowance
suggestion from here is that I put it in a Santander 1-2-3 account.
My question is, can I set up a monthly transfer of £500 month into this from my main Halifax account and transfer the Direct Debits I have to this account (in effect negating the in/out finance) and then add my savings and get 3% interest on my savings as well as a % cashback off my DD's and the only cost to me would be £2/month?

good a/c. use as a current a/c, just don't leave > £20k in0

Is your Halifax a Reward acct? If so, don't forget, it needs to pay 2 monthly DDs as one of the conditions to get the fivers. So you might not want to move them all, or replace them with some smaller ones.0
