Hi, My laptop has been running slow of late, and now I keep getting pop-ups and new tabs opening without me asking it to. I have been through the control panel (programs) and see 'Doownnload keuepeer' (exact spelling), when I click 'uninstall now' it doesn't do anything. When I go onto 'Manage add ons' in Internet Explorer Tools, it does not let me disable download keeper. I have internet security but it is not picking this up as a risk. I have googled it and can see this is definitely a problem, but the tips on how to remove it are often jargon or want me to download some software, which I am unwilling to do seeing as I think that was my problem in the first place. Please can someone help me remove this program from my computer? I am using Windows 7. Thank you in advance

I have downloaded this and ran the scan but it doesn't show anything relating to download keeper in the security issues, just things like smart board (which I use so cant understand why it is there) and iTunes. It is also asking me to pay £20 for a one off repair, which I am reluctant to do seeing as it doesn't seem to have found download keeper. Any ideas?0 -
