in Credit cards
Hello,
Was looking for a bit of advice…
I have 3 existing credit cards all with approx 2.5k on each. Currently I am on 0% on all balances. I need to transfer a balance by February 2014 before one of the 0% cards runs out and I start paying interest. My concern is I will be refused credit and this could then spiral in to further unmanageable debt. My Experien report was Fair (although I am aware doesn't help much). When I use Martin's eligibility checker the best chance looks to be RBS but and it says 40/100 people get this card. Just a bit nervous I suppose… the experien matches me to a Barclaycard but on the other tool it gives me 0 chance of a successful application. I closed a Barclaycard appox 6months ago, wish I kept it for a back up existing customer offer.
I would consider a loan to pay all of these debts over 5 years but again, would be worried I would be refused an unsecured loan.
Personal situation
Permanent job 23k
Private tenant (2 flats in last 5 years)
Currently using (Virgin/Fluid/Halifax)
On electoral roll etcs
1.What application advice would anyone suggest?
2. If I apply and are refused what would options would I have to avoid interest?
3. Would I be more beneficial applying for an unsecured loan?
4. How long should wait before applying to Barclaycard (previous lender)
Any thoughts or advice welcomed. Thanks

(By the way, I think you're over-analysing everything on the "which card to apply for" question)0 -
Thanks, I suppose I am concerned that should I be refused an application balance transfer I would start to pay interest which I couldn't really afford and then it would likely escalate and build0
