    My bank have reinstated a DDI for me in the past, on my request. (time limits may apply)

    A bank can re instate a direct debit on request from the customer.

    A bank can agree reinstate a DD mandate and accept requests for payment from an originator again.


    The key thing with Direct Debits is that is the originator (in this case the nursery) instigates the payment, not the bank

    ADDACS Code R - Paying bank has reinstated the instruction which was cancelled within the last two months.
