Mouse for laptop recommendation

Does anyone have any recommendations for a mouse that I can use with my laptop, my current one seems to have died, it is a Trust optical mouse and the red light keeps coming on, going off, coming on, going off, etc. There's no loose wires or connections so I think I need a new one.

Don't want to pay mega £s as my desktop is my main computer, I just use the laptop occasionally but prefer to use a mouse with it.

Wired or wireless?

If it is wireless that you are looking for then I am using a Logitech M185 and would certainly recommend it.

Ah, hadn't thought about that, never used a wireless one before but thanks for the recommendation, I'll take a look.

I use a small Microsoft Compact Optical Mouse on my laptop. It's just like any normal mouse, except a bit smaller. I've had no problems with it.
