Guys,
I have just recently had my mortgage statement through for the year and it raised a concern in my head regarding overpayments, this seems like the best thread to ask the question.
I am currently on a repayment mortgage, whenever I have made any overpayments I have always asked for my monthly payments to remain the same and to reduce the length of my term. If my OP is more than the capital I pay on my monthly mortgage should I see a whole month reduced from my term?
For example if my capital each month is approx. £200 and I make an OP of £200 should my term reduce by a month?
