Have a look at Ordsall Hall in Salford.
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.

Hall is quite modern inside despite being a conversion of old chapel but means it is well equipped and fully accessible for wheelchairs. Village setting, lots of old buildings and beautiful countryside.

  • Rufford hall, salmesbury hall, houghton tower (A road between Preston & Blackburn), mains hall (poulton), tithe barn at browsholme hall (Ribble Valley).

The tithebarn is lovely, it's a blank canvas, stone barn with little slit windows they fill with candles. My best friend is getting married there in 2015.

Would you like the ceremony & reception in the same place?
