Venues in the Northwest

Hi all,
I am looking for some suggestions. We're looking to get married in 2015 (civil ceremony), but I'm already proving to be a bit of a bridezilla! I just can't choose a venue.
I was really keen on a barn wedding; but so far the venues we've looked at (Meols Hall Tithe barn, Hyde Bank Farm, Sandhole Oak Barn) are too expensive (budget is £8,000 for 80 day guests) or not suitable for wheelchair users (grandparents are wheelchair bound).
I am now willing to look at alternative venues that preferably have features such as beams and stone walls. I'm not keen on traditional hotels with busy carpets and wallpaper.
Today we went to view Lancashire Manor Hotel which had a lovely hall but I wasn't keen on the location (industrial park).
We're based in Liverpool but are willing to look throughout the north west & north Wales. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to look? Surely there should be a nice location with beams, stone walls, beautiful landscape and not too expensive in the area! Or am I asking too much?

hey had written a huuuuuge message lol but it deleted it stupid comp!!
The general gist was check out this place it sounds like it meets your needs it's where we're having ours I don't usually like hotel weddings and to be honest never thought I'd have one ( I wanted an outdoor forest camping/festival thing!! But my mum made it clear she didn't want to go to that lol!)
But this hotel spoke to me and felt right I was mainly concerned about the outdoors as I knew I wanted an outdoor ceremony and the outdoors was lovely and seemed great!!
I think the bigger room indoors wasn't very busy d!cor wise if I remember rightly and the rooms we are in are being decorated to look like a bit outdoorsy so I wasn't too fussed what it looked like!!
It's deffo within your budget a lot less if I remember rightly is that your budget just for the venue or the whole lot as our whole lot came in less than that including all the entertainment etc!! But we are 50 day and 80 night guests so a bit smaller.
I'll send you the link and check them on on tripadvisor too as people that have had weddings there have loved it!!

I was going to suggest the same two!! my friend for married at Salmesbury at it was lovely, great food too!
If I'd have got married back home then Rivington Barn would have been my first port of call!
i'nm not sure how expensive it is but there is a place called West Tower or the Tower in Ormskirk which might be a bit nearer? might be a bit pricey i think!
