In the recent Wetherspoons magazine it states that you can now get a free refill of your filter coffee.
The offer is on from 8am till 2pm every day on the filter coffee (not latte, mocha etc) You just need to keep your receipt to get the refill.
The coffee they serve there is Lavazza - A good one in my opinion & Wetherspoons sell it cheap too!

If you look a bit closer the offer is only on the filter coffee and not the espresso and latte's etc.
The filter coffee tastes as though it is made with 1 teaspoonful per gallon of water more commonly known as " Gnats Pee " !0 -

I beg to differ. OK it is not 'jolt to the heart' strength coffee but it is by no means 'Gnats pee'.
And before you question my judgement or taste, may I say that I never buy 'off the supermarket shelf' coffee and buy beans on a fortightly basis (to always ensure freshness) that I grind daily at home from a specialist coffee company.
For a cheap coffee whilst shopping (no Starbucks & the like locally for us!) fix I can't fault Wetherspoons.

Get down off your high horse ! We all have a right to our own opinion .
You local Wetherspoon staff may be more heavy handed when adding the coffee to water than the tight fisted staff in mine .
IMHO the filter coffee I have sampled in Wetherspoons is Gnats Pee !0 -
We're going there for the Team Christmas Do.
Bonus if the coffe keeps coming!
Thank you OP!0 -

You can only say that if you`ve actually drank gnat`s pee, which I doubt.
If you still insist you have, where did you get it, how much did you drink and how much did you pay for it.0 -
