Hi ,can anybody tell me if there is a way of checking how many shares my wife holds in Tesco ,she has lots of share certificates going back to when she left the company in 2003 she gets a dividend payment a couple of times a year ,just wondered if there was anywhere I could phone with the account number on the share certificates to find out exact figure:xmastree:

It's easy to check if you have dividends, find out what the last divi/share was, use this figure and divide it by the last divended payment
eg last divi/share 10p last dividend payment £100 therefore 1000 shares.
But yes there should be a registrar listed somewhere on the divi letter.0 -

Alternatively you can request details of your shareholding by writing to Equiniti, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing Business Park, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA.
