Can/will wild birds eat beef fat?

I just fried up some minced beef & collected the fat which has solidified, seems a shame to waste it if birds will have it.... can they?

They'll love it - look at all the fat balls that are sold for birds.

Thanks, I'll stick it out then.

Never been a bird lover but I like to do my bit for the wildlife if I can.

oh yes! I make up my own 'fat balls using seeds, peanuts walnuts etc and any fat I can get my hands on (that I don't have to pay for). if I have beef dripping the birds really 'flock' to it! (sorry, couldn't resist the pun). but I have used bacon fat mixed with lard to solidify it.
