Advice please,
I am getting a car on Personal Contract Hire next week, had been told by company that i would be registered keeper, but on checking up on other sites had found out that cause i dont own car i cannot be registered keeper, i confronted company and the lady said "sorry got confused" so with correct details in hand i set to find insurance company, low and behold i only managed to eventually find 5 after the director of company who is providing me the car said "that out of all insurance companys out there he only knows of 2 that will not insure comtract hire car's" yet another mistake, as i phoned 29 insurance companys.....
Well in the end managed to find 5 Direct line,Admiral, swinton, morethan and prestige, direct line alomost half the price of others, but what concerns me is when i said Personal Contract hire, he said"leasing" and i said no "personal contarct hire is correct technical term" he again repeated his statement and then conferred with team leader and said they class it as the same thing. Im just worried that if i make a claim and they see that that its personal contract hire as i said to them clearly 7 times that they may say my insurance is invalid to claim as it's down as leasing and clearly its not a lease.
Any advice appreciated,
Paddyboy
