Who's been using my shed

I know there is a whole procedure a LL must go through before disposing of previous tenants' stuff, so they can't just dump or take it to the charity shop a couple of months after the tenant leaves, but I don't know if that would apply to you as a tenant regarding previous tenants' stuff.
If you discover it IS the shed that forms part of you rental that's full of other people's stuff then you'll probably have to get your LL to sort it out (if you can't find the owners from among the other residents).0 -
Get on to landlord/agent and get them to sort this out, it should be done before you move in.Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

You don't want to be liable for it if you binned it.
Take it down to the agent & let them deal with it (take a witness).
Cheers!
PS It is possible you've been told the wrong shed.
Yes it's quite possible the LA has told me the wrong shed. A shed is listed on the inventory but the company carrying out the inventory weren't told which one it is so the contents isn't listed. I haven't signed the inventory yet. The new LA probably thinks I'm a pain already
