Not sure if this is the right area to ask, but just wondered what would happen to your money if you booked a foreign holiday with Groupon IF they went out of business?
Any links to this being answered before would be great.
Cheers

Do you mean if Groupon went out of business or if the travel company went out of business?
I'm not sure whether Groupon pay the partner / supplier for the deal immediately or once the guests have arrived with their voucher. I have a feeling that your contract if their is one as such is with the supplier and not with Groupon so if the travel company went bust then you would probably lose out (unless they are ATOL / ABTA bonded) and that hopefully Groupon would have some insurance in place to be able to pay you back.
If Groupon themselves went bust then I suppose it would depend on whether or not the travel partner had already been paid for the deal as to whether or not they are paid. Good question really though.Lea0 -
If Groupon go bust, nothing. If the travel company the you buy from through Groupon go bust, you claim your money back from your travel insurance.0

I'd check with Groupon if I were you.
Although it was nothing as expensive as a holiday, when a beauty salon went bust that I had a voucher for Groupon refunded to my card.0
