Star Alliance

Does anyone have contact details (email/street address) for Star Alliance?
I wish to make a complaint about the shocking treatment (including a significant lie) my friends and I received at the hands of one of its member airlines.
I have checked the Star Alliance web-site but there are no contact details – not even an email address.
Any information you can provide will be gratefully received.
Many thanks

I don't know of a direct contact number or email at Star Alliance as they don't have a complaints department as such. The best bet would be to contact the airline that you booked with in the first place, but I presume from your post you have done this and not really got anywhere.
I would suggest you contact star alliance via their facebook page and ask for an email address or contact details from them. https://www.facebook.com/staralliance

I suspect StarAlliance would push any complaint straight back to the member airline concerned to deal with it.

    Thanks for both suggestions.
Facebook: Yes, I've done that - I've also tried Twitter - no luck yet.
Straight back to airline: Yes, my thought too. As there are no contact details I think it's obvious that Star Aliance don't want to burden themselves with customers. It's just a marketing arm.

Anyway, for those who need it. If you're travelling in Peru, try to avoid TACA/Avianca.
