Definitely will Cath, that's the one I got. I'd definitely order one and just open a couple together when it arrives :j I bought one for my Mum too to make a change from chocolate this year.

How long does delivery take? I wish there was a shop I could get near! Do you know if these can also be refilled or do you peel off the doors? I don't think I remember having an advent as a kid, tho maybe I did lol. I used to have a fear of lighting candles, but one year my friend bought me a pillar candle and somehow, from then my fear went, as long as I use a candle lighter. I love candles, but last night was the first time in ages I sat with one lite, so think I will do that every day up till xmas, with a different one I can find as I already have a few and just dragged myself away from the YC site lol, but i was wondering about ordering it in the sale and keeping for next year, or as I said, refilling it. Do you only get 6 scents as the site says?
  • Lego here :o:D:D

I split a huge set into 24 bags; they won't know what they've got until the 23rd when they get the instructions, then will get all the people and other lovely bits on the 24th. In the meantime they get a random bag of bricks to play with! (More imaginative that way ;))
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.
  • Hi Cath, I'm not sure how long delivery takes as I picked mine up when I was out and about having looked at the back it looks like it is just the six different scents. They are a bit like the chocolate ones with cardboard doors that open,so I don't think they are designed to be refillable but you probably could if you're careful

I have a Yankee candle one, today I got a snowflake cookie tea light :)

Ditto! I can barely smell it though :(
  • We had

DS (lego) - minifigure with a cup

    mine (lindt) - small reindeer

cat (dreamies) - window full of treats (I was only expecting 2 or 3)

I think the cat got the best deal!

emslovesmickey the charm bracelet one sounds good

It is quite cool - from Meri Meri. It was only £15 and you get the bracelet in the first bit and then each subsequent day is a christmas themed charm

DD got a choc shaped like a present from her 39p (Home Bargains;))Monster High calendar.

She read the beginning of the story from the Nutcracker Suite calendar.

DS sulked that his Mario Advent calendar, that he ate last night as he couldn't wait was shaped like a Santa instead of a Mario. I should tell you here that he isn't 3, he's 13 :rotfl:

Mum who I gave the You Beauty Advent calendar _ i bought when reduced to 1/2 price last year to as her christmas pressie, rang me to say that day 1 was a nail polish and that she's going to open the doors daily but save all the goodies and not use before Christmas Day.
  • My DD had a home filled calendar. She had a mini Chupa Chup lolly and a message from the Christmas Fairy explaining that she could put up the tree in her bedroom today!
