Thanks for all the responses re: Ideas Lab payment ~ one of the payments is now showing in PP so I expect the other will be along shortly! Glad the link's up too, so others can use it, as Nat21luv says, it's easy peasy!
So, that £5 plus £8.99 from Ebay sales now added to total in signature! Slow going overall ... perhaps I should have gone with £5 a day this month!
Going to try Mag1cMagp1e over the holidays, as I've seen it mentioned a lot and have some serious CDs to shift. I can spend the holidays transferring them to hard drive and then pass them on, as the only CD player I have is the laptop now anyway ~ even the car has a delightfully retro cassette player!
Any comments on using MM gratefully received.

Humming bird, in that kind of scenario I find a friendly (but prominently visible) note on the listing helps. Perhaps you could revise the listings to add that if you receive payment by xxx days after auction closing (or last date that fits you), items will be posted before Christmas, otherwise items will not be posted until New Year?
At least that way people looking at your items will be aware and if they bid because they want it for Christmas they'll know to pay promptly (and you can add it to your totals for this month) :TStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

I personally would not be listing if I was due to be away for more than 2 days. All my items finish a clear 7 days before I leave, 2 days to open the nPB, 4 days later close it and a day extra to post if they do pay.
Buyers don't read listings, we all know that, and there would be nothing worse than coming home to trashed stars and a restricted account. It only takes 3 unhappy buyers a year for a small private seller to be restricted and on the way to losing their account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Has anyone else been invited to this spin off group on ideas lab ? I have but I think its just for this week. It is absolutely hysterical with the most crazy tasks. If anyone has then they will know what I am talking about.
Better not talk about it until its finished
