hsbc replacing my saving cashcard

with visa debit card has everyone else got a letter about it I don't know if I could cope with one has other banks saving accounts have a debit card

    If you are unable to control your spending, get a passbook account. This will make it marginally more difficult to spend your money if you don't actually want to spend your money.

    Its only a denit card, not a credit card. You can't use it unless you have the funds available in the ac!!!! or an arranged overdraft. If you do not want to use it, then just lock it away, simples.

    No other banks' savings card has the debit facility since Natwest removed it from the First Reserve account.

    10,000 Posts Combo Breaker
    There are one or two savings accounts with VISA or MasterCard debit cards that I know of. Santander e-saver and SBI for starters. Though for Santander, I believe the only transactions you can carry out are at ATMs and over the counter.
