Voluntary redundancy - Credit check impact?

Hi All,
My company is currently offering a voluntary paid leavers scheme but I am also looking at houses at the moment. If I took the leavers payment, would it have any credit score impact afterwards?
Essentially, the lump sum would help increase my deposit significantly and I think I could get a better paid job relatively quickly. (Ignoring the impact of how long I would have to be in a new job before companies would offer me a mortgage)
Regards
Teddy

I would have thought if you tell the lenders you were unemployed, or will be imminently, it would affect your score.
I learnt that being unemployed affects things I never considered, e.g. all types of insurance.0
