Pinecone points programme

Hello, sorry if there is already a thread on this!
I seem to have been switched to a 'point programme' instead of receiving £3 via Paypal for completing surveys. The redemption site looks almost identical to the Nielsen scanning one, I don't really want to be participating in another programme like that and would much rather the cash!!! Is there a way to switch back to Paypal payment, or is this just the way that Pinecone is going to be paying now? Thinking of not bothering any more if so!
Thank you
Phoebe

You can still get Paypal payments. It's just that you need to convert the points on the reward site to the paypal payment option. 300 points = £3 paypal. I've used this method several times and it works fine. Just takes a day or so longer than previously.
There is also the option of saving the points for higher rewards or multiple payment amounts if you wish0 -
I recently joined pinecone and got a survey the next day, expecting to be paid via paypal also, but ended up getting £3 luncheon vocher via post instead.
Not had a survey aince and not spent the vouchers yet either. lol.YNAB is my new best friend.

I get the luncheon vouchers I save them up and use them on my weekly shop, then I use the cash I have saved to treat myself

I keep getting emails asking if I want paypal, if the next step from that is points, think I will leave it as vouchers.0 -
I re-joined pinecone (was a member from 2004 - 2007) and I also get luncheon vouchers.Since Jan 2014 -- Clixsense -- £300 (join us! ♥) | Valued opinions £120 | Nectar Fanatic (SavvyShoppers/Canvass)

Has anyone else been asked to join an 'exclusive' panel for Pinecone? I've had an email today. Apparently you have to agree to them installing a programme on your computer so that they can monitor your activity and use the data for their research.0

No way of switching but PayPal is one of the redemption offers with the same £3 per survey payout.
Have to say, looking at the offers, they are really not passing on any of their buying power discounts. Many of the vouchers are available as evouchers and at least 10% discount will be given to them and yet they still give the 1pt=1p payout rate as with PayPal0 -
Has anyone had a questionnaire from Pinecone where you have to agree to a flash cookie being installed on your computer and does anyone know what this can read please?0

I feel like an idiot I couldn't find the paypal option on the points site before, thank you!
