I've signed up to a really big savings challenge this year, and I'm hoping that this will help me to get there in a relatively painless way (and stop me cheating!.

Welcome EeeJay - your number is 125.
Welcome also to member 126 - Sams2470 -
Flat Eric- Just to reiterate what others have said, thanks ever so much for running this challenge. It is truly inspiring, and without your awesome threads and management, most of us probably wouldn't save as much.
Now please don't think I'm trying to take people away from this challenge, because the more people on here saving the better, but I took ownership of the save a pound a day - £365 in 365 days in 2014. I have put the tread up, and hopefully a few will join - 2014 £365 in 365 days!
I'm running that challenge just as a side and small one, the money saved will be going into a different account from my virtual pot money, so don't worry!
I was just putting up the link incase anyone has missed it, as the forum is busy and things are moving fast at this time of year.
Nobody has signed up yet
I'm just putting it onto the threads that I follow, this, sealed pot and the save 12k in 2014, so please don't think I'm the spamming master to take over all the forums and challenges lol
Once again I hope you don't think I'm being rude :A

P.s can you change member 123 to £76 I got it wrong last update thanks
No I don't mind you sharing details of the other challenges. I'll add them to one of the early posts so they can be found easily :j0 -
Firstly welcome to the new members. :j I've allocated you a number which can be found in post 6 on the front page.
It is never too late to join and all are welcome. If you were a member last year, your number has been carried forward - if you have forgotten your number - see post 5.
If you were a (new) member before last Sunday then I got myself into a bit of a pickle so you may find you have a different number to what you were originally allocated. Sorry about this. Hopefully all is well and numbers are correct. That will teach me for trying to be clever!
I will try to keep up to date with the thread and post numbers for new members as soon as I can although Sunday will probably be my day for posting/updating.
If you want to set a target then please post details in a different colour. I will try to keep on top of the number crunching but if there is anyone that is more number savvy than me and would like to take this on then please shout.
meanwhile - it would greatly help if you could post your username/virtual pot number/and your new total in a different colour so I can spot it easily.
Finally, Post 7 is for other challenges so if you are partaking in another challenge that you think would be of interest then please share details :T
Thanks for reading my waffle and happy saving0 -
