Morning all,
posting and running as I am a woman on a mission - the DSs are due midday-ish and I have a long list of jobs including finding their beds.
Waited in for the exam papers all yesterday which didn't arrive - so stuck in today again. Not happy, but we've re-arranged plans so that one of us is in until deliveries wd be finished for the day. not happy, but no choice.
I'll be reading later - something to look forward to!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

Now I'm off to decorate the house for ChristmasWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
Good morning everyone...just!
Well done Daisy. I must admit I formula fed all my girls and they all did well. Now they are all hulking great tweens and teenagers and are all taller than me . You have to do whatever it takes for your baby to thrive and no need to feel guilty about it either.
I've had a busy morning, I've already been to town and visited 2 christmas fairs. I managed to pick up a Peppa Pig palace for my obsessed grandson so he will be in seventh heaven later when he comes over. I also bought some lovely fairy cakes from a stall and will be having one with a cuppa in a minute.
It's mine and hubbys wedding anniversary tomorrow, 14 lovely years, it has flown past. He is cooking me a steak dinner tonight to celebrate as we are both busy tomorrow with churchy things. I've managed to stash away some baileys ice cream too for pudding so I'm really looking forward to being waited on tonight lol.
Eldest DD is taking me out for the first time in her new car after passing her test the other week. We are going to pick up an XBox I've bought from Facebook and then we are going to Lidls to get some party stuff for my DD10's birthday in the week. Hopefully we will make it in one piece .
Well that's all my news for now, take care and as always, gentle hugs for all who would like one.
Cheers m'dears x0 -
Hello all!
Have been chasing my tail all morning, have just found the time to sit down!
Out yesterday for a belated birthday celebration, fortunately not in the city centre, we used to go to the pub involved in the crash to listen to music years ago, what a tragedy, hats off to the emergency services and the passers by for all their hard work!
Have a turkey drumstick in the SC cooking for stock, and the thigh is roasting in the oven, will be scoffed in a variety of sandwiches, pie etc and the broth mix is soaking to make soup. Right, am off to find something to watch on tv while I tackle the ironing, have a good day all!RIP Iain

Evening all,
Tru i'd have been flattered and very pleased if my daughter nicked my makeup but we have very different tastes where making our face up is concerned. I love bright colours on my eyes and lips and she likes the 'barely there' look. If she went through my makeup she would say "oh my god your never going to wear that?". If I looked through hers i'd probably say "I don't know why you bother". My other daughter never wears any makeup but her hair has been all colours of the rainbow over the years.
Busy day for us, hubby was out at 9 getting his winter tyres put on the car. Then shopping via the local shopping centre. He wanted to go in Halfords, I wanted to go in Kiddicare to get something for my Grandbaby. Compromise. He dragged me round Halfords and then I dragged him round Kiddicare.
Then food shopping.
Hubby has been flaked out for the past hour. He will be awake in half an hour. I can time his bladder to the minute.:rotfl:
He's got an evening of doing his accounts ahead of him. Ive got an evening of pleasing myself.
'Youngest' has gone out to a party. I hope he will be sensible.
JulieGeorgiana so pleased to hear about baby Daisy's weight gain. :T

Evening all,
Horrified at the helicopter accident in Glasgow, hope that none of our MSEfriends or their gfamilies have been involved.
Been a quiet day, OH cooked and I spent most of the day unravelling a ball of wool....have been taking wool from centre lately but it didnt work with the o e last night ...would not let it get the better of me and managed to get it done, even if it almost went in the fire several times!
It appears that DD1 may join us for Christmas after all, only snag is that she wont eat goose so seems that we are back to turkey for dinner on 25th, I haveno problem eithe r way as I will eat anything.
Sleep well everyone
