the e2save.com FAQ says they break the seals on 90% of phones they send out..

mine also had broken seals and I was a bit worried about that at first..

You may be unlucky there! I spoke to the e2save customer services at lunchtime today to see where the hell my 2 phones had got to and while on the phone I asked if my phones were the black model. She confirmed this and said that all their existing stock was the black model!!

well then, do u guys prefer the grey version or the black version? i thought ppl are receiving the dark grey version?

Black is better than grey - better look - unlocked - no orange rubbish

A word of caution for those of you who got an Orange locked phone and firmware and want to use it on the O2 network after your 12 months are up.
The following info was taken from this site: http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/Unlocking/samsung.htm

"This flash pack is needed to remove network branding from any branded Samsung D500

This process also corrects certain software bugs. ie. An unlocked Orange D500 will not accept O2 network properly until it has been flashed."

Looks like you would need to buy both the 'Unlocking Clip' and the 'Flash Pack', kinda pricey.

The black definately looks better, and you can remove the network logo.
Actually, mine is glossy black and very dark blue.
