We're updating our guide to cheap tickets for concerts, theatre and sporting events and would love your help.
Things we're keen to find out include:
- Which sites give you the best deal on fees and postage?
- Which are the easiest and quickest to get tickets through?
- What's your experience of sell on sites such as StubHub and Viagogo?
- Do you have any memberships or use sites that help you get discounts or advance tickets?
Plus any other tips you have to help everyone not miss out on going out!
Thanks!

Used to regularly get cheap gig tickets off ebay until the crusade against ticket touting put paid to that.
Twickets on twitter is a pretty good way of getting face value or less tickets, and the later you're willing to leave it (eg day of gig) the better value you can get. Also it's generally cheaper if you only need a single ticket.
A lot of artists have their own fan clubs which offer presales and make it easier to get tickets. There is sometimes a fee to join the fan clubs but they can offer other perks as well.0 -
For smaller theatres, sign up to any membership scheme they offer sometimes gets cheaper tickets for certain shows as a perk (plus sometimes no booking fees or postage fees). They also send out 2-for-1 promotions for certain shows.
For the larger shows, try buying from the venue's boxoffice website if they are selling the tickets on there, sometimes will avoid some of the excessive booking fees charged by See/Ticketmaster. Again that depends on the promoter as some promoters want their share of the booking fee no-matter how you pay (ie paying cash at the venue box-office itself will still be hit with the booking fee)0 -
You can often get some good deals on LoveTheatre.com0
